Application Scope
The FDU90 ultrasonic sensor provides maintenance-free, non-contact continuous level monitoring for liquids, pastes, slurries, and both fine and coarse bulk materials. It’s equally effective for open channel flow measurement applications. Measurement accuracy remains unaffected by dielectric properties, density, humidity, or surface deposits due to its self-cleaning capability. Suitable for hazardous areas, it offers maximum detection ranges of 3 m (9.8 ft) for liquids and 1.2 m (3.9 ft) for solids.
This non-contact measurement device is ideal for monitoring liquid levels and bulk materials in silos, conveyors, stockpiles, and crushers, as well as open channel flow measurement. Particularly effective in confined space applications.
