Application
The FQG66 container is designed for storing radioactive sources with maximum activity during point-level measurement, continuous level monitoring, and density control. Radiation is directed with minimal attenuation in one specific direction while being effectively absorbed in all others. This ensures maximum personnel safety and measurement reliability.
Intended for housing radioactive sources in point-level measurement, level control, and density monitoring. When used with highly sensitive scintillation detectors, it minimizes environmental radiation exposure.
-
Used when smaller containers (FQG61/62) provide insufficient shielding
-

Advantages
-
Enhanced safety through maximum source protection class
(DIN 25426/ISO 2919, typically class C66646) and simplified source replacement -
Superior shielding eliminates the need for controlled zones and allows installation in accessible areas
-
Additional metal protective capsule with sealing ring safeguards the source from mechanical and chemical damage
-
Compact design, easy installation, and adjustable radiation angles for optimal application fit
-
Safety interlock secures switch position and prevents unauthorized access
-
Convenient switch status monitoring via inspection windows or remote proximity sensor indication
