GESTRA Blowdown Valve, PA47

The GESTRA blowdown valve model PA 47 is designed for installation in pipelines to discharge boiler water. This manually operated sludge shut-off valve is specifically used for draining sludge-containing boiler water with non-metallic solids from steam generators. Upon opening, the valve quickly provides a large outlet cross-section, enabling the removal of precipitated sludge. All GESTRA PA series valves are intended for manual operation.
