GESTRA Blowdown Valve, MPA46

The GESTRA blowdown valve model MPA 46 is designed for installation in pipelines to discharge boiler water. This sludge quick-closing valve functions automatically with manual initiation. Specifically, the MPA 46 sludge valve removes sludge-laden boiler water containing non-metallic solids from steam generators. Upon opening, it rapidly provides a large outlet cross-section, enabling efficient expulsion of settled sludge. MPA series units incorporate diaphragm actuators to facilitate automated operation.
