The ASi-3 CANopen Gateway features an integrated Safety Monitor and a built-in ASi-3 master with decoupling capability, supporting up to 4 A per ASi circuit. It includes ASi current monitoring within the gateway and offers 6 digital inputs or 3 x 2-channel safety inputs (SIL 3, Cat. 4), expandable to a maximum of 31 x 2-channel safety inputs (totaling 1891 x 2-channel safety inputs in full configuration). The device provides 6 release circuits (6 x electronic safety outputs), scalable up to 31 safety outputs (991 safety outputs in maximum configuration). It supports Safe Link technology and enables diagnostics and configuration via an Ethernet interface. Additional features include duplicate address detection, ASi fault monitoring, optional C programming capability, and an IP20 protection rating.
